I am so in with the celebrity D-List. I can name drop with the best of ‘em. So yeah, at my birthday party, which was held at some swanky West Hollywood Pan Asian bistro a couple of weeks ago, I was chatting it up with my new best friend Celeste Yarnall - she of Star Trek, Episode 38 fame. According to one Amazon reviewer, she “is one of the loveliest female costars that Star Trek was fortunate to get during it's series run in the sixties.” And she is still beautiful. (She's the one in the middle - oops - I mean, the left. Your left.) And we simply must have tea sometime.
And then of course there was dinner at Mirabelle on the Sunset Strip with my other new best friend, Pat, who starred as Hilda, Colonel Klink’s secretary, in Hogan’s Heroes. We spotted Kato “Can I Get A Witness” Kaelin walking back and forth through the restaurant seeking to be ogled.
Which just goes to show, if you ever decide to leave your house and get out in Los Angeles, you can catch a celebrity or two without trying too hard. And I’m getting so old, I probably walk by a lot more of the younger or newer celebrities without realizing it which I suppose, according to them, is my loss.
