Keenan Cahill, Cody Ross and Brian Wilson Make Soon-To-Be Viral Video

Move over Rebecca Black. Keenan Cahill is taking YouTube by storm. And this week he’s joined by Cody Ross and Brian Wilson of the San Francisco Giants.

No, I’m not kidding.

Have you guys even heard of Keenan Cahill? No? Then thank goodness for me because it’s people like me that keep people like you in the know.

Keenan began his musical career at 13 by goofing off and lip-synching to songs in front of his web camera and uploading the videos to YouTube where hundreds, then thousands, then millions of people tuned in.

Now he’s 16 and after Katy Perry tweeted him last fall, his popularity soared.

He’s shot a commercial with Jennifer Aniston.

He’s done videos with rapper 50 Cent.

Screaming girls want his autograph.

You’re probably burning with jealousy right about now wondering “Who is this guy?” and “Why is this guy is all famous and not me?” and “Who do I have to sleep with to get Katy Perry to tweet me?” Well let me tell you who this kid is, you little green man (or woman) from planet Envy.

Keenan Cahill is nothing short of awesome. Why? Because he a gorgeous example of a boy who is following his dreams while overcoming obstacles that might stop others in his place.

Despite some rare disease I’ve never heard of (Maroteaux-Lamy Syndrome, aka MPS, type 6) that has resulted in frequent surgeries and bone marrow transplants and more doctor’s visits than anyone should ever have in their entire life, his determination told his obstacles to suck it, he was going to be an internet rock star anyway.

So as far as I’m concerned he’s earned it ten times over compared to you. And yes, even me. As awesome as I am.

I just love this kid, he always cracks me up, especially his little smirk and attitude on his vids. His duo with 50 cent was hilarious, I think it was done on the Conan show, if I remember. I appreciate knowing about his condition, had no idea, he is a little trooper with one hell of a great look on life.
