As you know, the world is going to end (again) in December of 2012, so this is your last chance to get in on the Goat Calendar fun. Yes, it’s that time again. In fact, it’s past that time, and we are taking photo submissions until July 31, 2011.
Remember the calendar for 2011? Some of you have them hanging on your walls right now, as we speak.
Pasqualina, Miss April, from Goat Berries
Yeah,… good times.
So anyway, submit your best goat photo (or 2 or 3) and if selected, you will get a complimentary 2012 goat calendar of your own.
Your photo will have a better chance of getting selected if:
- The photo is cute, unusual, or funny.
- The photo is holiday or season-related (such as a goat wearing a Christmas wreath or a Halloween costume or playing in the snow)
- The photo was taken by you or someone you know with no issues about getting published in a calendar without getting paid for it.
- The photo is not blurry and is at least 1000 pixels in width and 800 pixels in height.
- The photo is in landscape mode (as opposed to portrait mode, because that’s how the calendar pages are situated.)
If your photo is selected for our one-time use, you will retain all rights to it. We can’t pay you to use the photo (this is a not-for-profit endeavor), but you will receive a complimentary calendar as a thank you.
Please attach a photo (or 2 or 3) to an email and send it to margaret@nannygoatsinpanties.com (or click the Contact tab at the top of this page).
If you know anybody who might be interested in this, please tell them about this call for submissions. Or tell your friends about it via Twitter or Facebook.
P.S. If you know a better or cheaper way to get calendars made than through Zazzle, I’d love to hear it. They charge way too much for a calendar and you have to wait until they knock it down 40% and still pay a ridiculous amount for shipping.
Remember, the deadline for photo submissions is July 31. Of this year.
