sticky readers, margaret andrews, book coverSticky Readers: How to Attract a Loyal Blog Audience by Writing More Better A humorous, but helpful book about writing better blog posts. It explains the various ways to make your writing more engaging (i.e. less boring) so that a reader will “stick” around for the whole thing, rather than read the first paragraph, get bored and leave. (Occurrences of non-family-family content).

Video Game:

I wrote content (script, character and feature names) for an online casual video game called Coconut Queen by iWin Games. It was listed in Gamezebo’s Best of 2009 special Editorial section. From their initial review: “Coconut Queen is an ambitious, humorous and wonderful game”. It was rated 8.5 on Metacritic.

Some cherry-picked testimonials from this page (emphasis mine):

This is one of my family’s favorite games for all the reasons stated by other players and just the pure fun of the humor used by the characters. We wish they would make another version of it and retain the integrity of this game’s charm.

…the graphics and storyline were great!

It’s rare to find a casual game with a sense of humor and fun graphics.
