Do you have an awesome photo of a goat? If you do, send it in for consideration to be published in the 2011 Nanny Goats in Panties Calendar. The goat doesn’t necessarily have to be yours, but the picture does (and it can be a picture that has been featured on Goat Thing of the Day in the past). I simply adore fainting goats since I saw them in person at the Museum of Appalachia in Norris, Tennessee, in the mid '90s. I thought I'd killed them just by walking by and saying hi. It was quite the eye-opener. Now I watch the YouTubes of them at least twice a year. And I blogged about them. I've got fainting goats covered except for the gelato part. That's just … weird.
If I didn't know better, I'd say goats are taking over the world.

Awww, that's a precious little baby. I loved that video. Are those goat sounds for real? I've seen goats at the Fair, etc. but never heard any that sounded like that. Real or not, it was hilarious .
Linda – As far as I know, it's real. I've seen other videos in the past of this sound from a goat, which is why I don't doubt this one. It's still an odd sound, though. And funny!
