Goat Thing of the Day: Zebra and Chocolate

Not that I want to ruin your weekend or anything, but you do realize there are only five shopping days until Christmas, right?

Surfie over at Surfie Says had an NGIP moment when visiting a farm in Lynchburg, SC. She immediately grabbed her camera and caught these two lovelies, named Zebra and Chocolate.

Can you guess which is which? Even my many many thousands and thousands of Kindle subscribers who may be limited to black and white photos (unless, of course, they carry the Super Quattro Amazon Kindle Photo Converter 3000) may be able to tell which one is most likely Zebra and which one is not Zebra, hence Chocolate.

    How come I never see any goats? Are there none in the northeast? Now I need to be on the lookout because it would make me so happy to submit a Goat Thing of the Day. Not kidding. Get it? I'm not kid-ding.

      I don't often run into them myself. I had to go to a goat dairy farm and the fair for the sole purpose of seeing goats to see goats.

    Yea! It's my GTOTD! These adorable creatures were named by my nephews (ages 9 and 7), who have not yet learned how to be creative with names. :)

      I like the names Zebra and Chocolate. It's better than some other pet names I've heard, such as, “Kitty”, “Doggie”, and “Turtle”.

    Zebra could also carry the name of Oreo. Now all this talk is makin' this chick hungry! Think I'll go hit the Christmas fudge, only five day left. Yeah, there will be plenty!

    Look at those sweet faces… I would have named the black-and-white one “Oreo” though. But maybe they don't have Oreos in Romania, in which case it's not someplace I wish to go…

    I don't know why you would want a Rosetta Stone. It would break your teeth. But humans are, erm odd.

    When I started reading I thought Zebra and Chocolate were last-minute gift ideas. I can get people some chocolate locally, but the zebra – not so much.

    These are lovely goats, although Zebra looks more like a cow in that second photo of them. Maybe she should have been named Holstein.

    I used to not like goats at all… except for looking for them on my honeymoon in Ireland. I used to think they were ugly, but since following you, I have come to love the little buggers.
    BTW, speaking of Kindle, my wonderful, loving husband got me one for Christmas – WooHoo!! Know what the first thing I did was… Subscribe to NGIP, of course… it was SO easy.
    I had sent him your post on all the amazing things you can do with a Kindle, I think that was the thing that finally convinced him, so I owe you a HUGE debt of gratitude… From the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU!!! :-)
