I'm Pro Anti-PC Behavior

Sometimes, I like to live vicariously through other countries and their Draconian ways. This funny country of ours is getting so damn lenient on criminals, "protecting" and "serving" them far more than they do us law-abdiding citizens, that I get a certain amount of politically incorrect joy out of watching this: (Click on the pic below to see what I'm talkin' 'bout!)

I know this is a blog and you're probably expecting me to rattle on about things in English words, and maybe someday I will, but right now I'm on some wierd obsessed video seeking journey, so let me get it out of my system.

Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, I don't know if this has already hit YouTube, but there's a 5 second video out there gaining in popularity. You can click on the picture below to run it. You might have to click it more than once, kinda like a lawn mower.

NannyGoats is Rated PG

According to this site, Nanny Goats In Panties is rated PG. Why? Because they found the occurance of the words "Poop" and "Sex". Ewwwww, I hope it wasn't in the same sentence.

Anyway, I wonder what SHIT and FUCK would have garnered? I guess I can check back tomorrow and find out!

VV of the Week: Numa Numa

This week's viral video (which makes no sense since I haven't established any pattern of weekly viral vidoes) is the original Numa Numa, which also spawned countless spinoffs, such as this one , explaining the lyrics, and this one, which explores how our men in uniform spend their down time. I'm surmising that part of the viral video mania is propelled further or faster by using a catchy tune.

What's a Meme?

While researching the definition of meme (pronounced 'meem', I stumbled upon a list of internet phenomena some of which I'd seen, while others, led me down a nasty spiral of virals.

So thank you, Jane, for introducing the word into my vernacular, resulting in an all-night surf with the Net.

While I may be a little behind on discovering "It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time", I may also have a small leg up on you with this one. When I watched this the first time, I didn't get the attraction. But then I watched it a second time and it began to feel a little catchy, kinda like the Hamster Dance. Then I watched this video response and this video response and found the whole thing hysterical. It left me with a feeling that I had a lot of catching up to do. Plus, I got an obligation with my peeps to keep them well-informed in the culture of pop, right?
